  • There is a great deal taking shape across Mysatech and the platforms we’re building together—and we want you to see the journey unfold.

The updates we’re sharing are more than a preview of changes coming to MySA. They’re a way to bring our community along as the work progresses: to show what’s being developed, explain why it matters, and help everyone understand how these platforms and programmes fit together.

As MySA moves through its next stage of development, we’ll be highlighting the new features and improvements planned for the social network—changes intended to create a more engaging, useful and connected experience for the people and businesses who use it. We want our community to understand what is changing and what those changes could make possible.

We’re also using this opportunity to put a brighter spotlight on the businesses and clients who are part of our network. Their products, services, stories and hard work deserve to be seen. As we share what is taking shape, we’ll introduce you to more of the people and organisations behind it—and help our audience discover businesses they may not have come across before.

And there is more to this journey than one social network. Across our partner platforms and programmes, different ideas are being developed to help people find and connect with what they need. That may mean helping a traveller discover a place to stay or something to do, helping a customer explore a local business, giving a company more ways to build its online presence, or creating useful learning and entertainment experiences for users.

For businesses, this work is about more opportunities to be presented clearly, build trust and reach people who are already looking for what they offer. For users, it is about having more meaningful ways to discover businesses, services, places, information and content that are relevant to them.

We’ll be sharing these developments step by step: introducing the platforms, showcasing our clients and partners, and giving you a closer look at the plans behind the changes. Some parts are still underway, and we’ll share more as they take shape. We want to be open about the journey and give the people who are part of it the recognition they deserve.

This is a major period of growth for Mysatech and the wider network. The changes are taking shape, the partnerships are moving forward, and there is much more to come.

Thank you to our clients, partners and community for being part of the journey. Keep following along—you’ll see the progress, meet the people behind it, and discover what these developments could mean for you.

  • THREE SOCIAL NETWORKS. ONE POWERFUL VISION. THE NEXT CHAPTER OF MYSATECH.

Major changes are unfolding across Mysatech and our growing network of partnerships. What started as a vision to connect businesses, communities and technology is now evolving into something far greater.

We are proud to announce an exciting new direction, bringing three distinct social networking platforms together under one connected strategy.

    MySA – Connecting South Africa.
Our dedicated South African social network is undergoing major upgrades, introducing more advanced features, improved business exposure and new opportunities for our verified users and businesses.

    Mysera – Connecting the World.
Our team is currently deploying Mysera, our fully operational international social network. This marks an exciting step beyond South Africa, expanding our digital vision to connect people, communities and businesses globally.

Mysatech Social – Putting Our Clients in the Spotlight.
Our third social networking platform will be merged with the official Mysatech website, creating an exclusive, professionally managed environment dedicated to Mysatech, our clients and our growing network of partners.

Unlike MySA and Mysera, which will remain publicly accessible, monitored and moderated social networks, Mysatech Social will be publicly visible but closed to general participation.

This creates a unique environment where our clients, their businesses, products, services and achievements take centre stage — without unnecessary distractions or competing content overshadowing their exposure.

But the real transformation goes beyond these three platforms.

We are strategically aligning Mysatech, our partnerships and our expanding digital services into a more connected ecosystem. From business discovery and digital marketing to social networking, travel, news and other innovative services, every development is being designed to strengthen how our platforms work together.

These changes are not simply about launching new websites or introducing new features. They represent a fundamental evolution in how we connect, promote and create opportunities for the businesses that trust us.

And while some of these changes are already becoming visible, much more is still taking shape behind the scenes.

The future of Mysatech is no longer about what one platform can achieve. It is about what an entire connected ecosystem can accomplish.

We are building towards that future, and this is only the beginning.

    Build. Connect. Market. Grow.

    • ½ medium banana, frozen
    • ½ cup (120g) plain or vanilla yogurt of choice
    • ¼ cup (60ml) milk of choice, plus extra if needed
    • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

    2. Blend until thick and smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
    3. If the mixture is too thick to blend, add a small amount of extra milk, one tablespoon at a time.
    4. Divide the smoothie mixture evenly between two serving bowls.
    5. Arrange your chosen toppings over the smoothie bowls.
    6. Serve immediately while thick and cold.

    Healthy Breakfast Options

    • V (Vegetarian): Contains no meat products.
    • DF (Dairy-Free Option): Use dairy-free yogurt and plant-based milk.
    • GF (Gluten-Free): Naturally gluten-free when prepared with gluten-free toppings.
    • EF (Egg-Free): Naturally egg-free recipe.
    • Family-Friendly: Bright colors, fruity flavor, and customizable toppings make this breakfast enjoyable for all ages.

    Storage

    • Best enjoyed immediately after preparation.

    • If needed, the blended smoothie base may be frozen in an airtight container for up to 1 month and thawed slightly before serving.

    Daily Delights Tip

Freeze ripe banana slices and mango chunks ahead of time for the thickest smoothie bowl texture. Using frozen fruit instead of ice creates a creamier consistency and a richer fruit flavor without watering down the bowl.

    • ¾ cup (90g) whole wheat flour
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ½ teaspoon baking soda
    • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
    • ⅓ cup (80ml) melted coconut oil or melted butter

    • ½ cup (75g) raisins

    2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
    3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil (or butter), honey (or maple syrup), egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
    4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
    5. Fold in the raisins and optional nuts.
    6. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes so the oats can absorb some moisture.
    7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking tray, spacing them about 5 cm (2 inches) apart. Gently flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.
    8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until:

    1. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

    Healthy Snack Options

    • V (Vegetarian): Contains no meat products.
    • DF (Dairy-Free Option): Use coconut oil instead of butter.
    • GF (Gluten-Free Option): Use certified gluten-free oats and a gluten-free flour blend.
    • EF (Egg-Free Option): Replace the egg with 1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flaxseed + 3 tbsp water, rested 5 minutes).
    • Family-Friendly: Soft texture and mild sweetness make these cookies suitable for all ages.

    Storage

    • Room temperature (airtight container): up to 4 days
    • Refrigerated: up to 1 week
    • Frozen (sealed container or freezer bag): up to 3 months

Allow cookies to cool completely before storing to maintain their texture.

    Daily Delights Tip

For extra plump and juicy raisins, soak them in warm water for 5–10 minutes, then drain and pat dry before adding them to the dough. This helps keep the cookies soft and moist after baking.

    Daily Delights Tip

For deeper apple flavor, sauté the diced apple in a small amount of butter or oil with a pinch of cinnamon for 2–3 minutes before adding the oats and liquid. This creates a richer, lightly caramelized apple taste throughout the bowl.
